margaret gray
Margaret is the Office Manager at Medenta and has over thirty years administration experience with ten years being dedicated to providing finance to the professions. In Margaret’s previous position she was administration/operations manager in charge of a team which provided in excess of £30 million of asset based finance.
In her spare time she enjoys a glass or two of red wine. In 1984 she spent the day driving Mohammed Ali to Manchester working with a children’s charity.

mike aldred
Mike is a consumer finance product specialist with in-depth knowledge of the healthcare market who has operated in sales, management and training functions in some of the world’s largest consumer credit companies. He is a partner and director at Medenta with responsibility for operations and personnel.
Mike is married to Mel and they have two daughters. He loves golf, real ale and socialising. His claim to fame is that he has been hit by Bing Crosby’s golf ball and that his brother used to go out with Sheena Easton.

richard collard
Richard is a business graduate and CTI trained coactive coach with an entire business career spent in dentistry firstly with KaVo and then running his own consultancy and coaching business. He is a partner and director at Medenta with responsibility for sales, training and product development.
Richard is married to Jenny and they have three sons. Outside work he can be found on the golf course, cruising on the Norfolk Broads and visiting real-ale pubs. His claim to fame is that he used to be mistaken for Ian Botham and his cousin had a 2 top ten hits in the 1980’s.

ruth findlay
Ruth is Business Manager for Medenta in Scotland and Ireland. She lives just outside Edinburgh with her husband and teenage daughter.
Ruth’s career began as a Dental Nurse working in NHS, private and mixed practices as well as a number of years in Edinburgh Dental Hospital. There then followed employment as a Dental Materials Specialist with Dentsply and Coltene and, before joining Medenta in 2005, spent 18 years with ESPE/3M ESPE.
In her teens, Ruth sang in a choir and in a folk group, appearing on television in a UK-wide talent show, long before Simon Cowell was a household name! Her group also sang for Prince Charles and for Princess Alexandria at events in Scotland. To keep fit, Ruth enjoys walking in the beautiful countryside around Edinburgh at the weekend with her trusty ipod for company!

simon tucker
Simon is a business builder of vast experience who has operated nationally and internationally, living in the USA and Switzerland, for a variety of well-known dental companies in sales and marketing management roles. He is a partner and director at Medenta with responsibility for finance, marketing and all matters IT.
Simon is married to Christine and they have one daughter and one son. To ensure the enjoyment of good ale and good food don’t ruin his youthful looks, Simon keeps fit by cycling and running. Simon's claim to fame is that both his grandfather and his grandfathers cousin played rugby for England in the 1930's and he actually achieved his own '15 minutes of fame', in 1973, on the BBC Children’s programme, ‘Why don’t you…’

Debbie has worked within the financial industry for over 12 years. Most of her career as a training officer, focusing on Finance/Banking, customer services & compliance. She had been with Medenta for over a year now & eagerly continues to develop her skills & knowledge.
When she’s not at work, Debbie enjoys cycling and swimming. Plus the odd holiday or two in the Caribbean!

Sam joins us with over a decade of experience supplying high end capital equipment to the dental profession. He has a passion for helping clients realise their dreams and understands the need for ongoing professional development. He has worked with some of the biggest names in dentistry, private, NHS and hospital based. He brings with him a wealth of experience in customer service and practice expansion.
Sam is married to Tracy and has 2 children, 3 dogs, 5 chickens and a rabbit. He is a keen chef, once had dinner with the band Bucks Fizz(Eurovision) and has played tennis with Cliff Richard.

gemma thompson
Gemma’s career within the Dental Industry began in 2003, shortly after completing her degree BSc in Health Promotion/ Management. Over the past 7 years Gemma has worked for Coltene-Whaledent and Kerr UK Ltd as a Dental Materials Specialist. She has experience working closely with GDP’s, Hospitals, PCT’s and Dental Labs; she has successfully established product lines in the Dental Schools and developed key relationships with Academic Opinion Leaders and Dental Associations.
Away from the work environment Gemma enjoys keeping fit by running and attending dance classes. She has a keen interest in health and nutrition, cooking and spending time with family and friends. Whenever she can Gemma loves to travel and the ‘healthy’ lifestyle is occasionally contradicted by the odd glass of wine!

Julie has over 17 years experience in HR and customer service. She is married and has two football mad young sons who play for local teams. She is lucky in competitions and so far has won backstage tickets to see the Corrs, Meatloaf and Texas, plus, a private villa holiday in Lanzarote. With little time to relax, the odd glass or two of wine are the order of the day.

rachel gray
Rachel joined Medenta straight from school, but confirms she loves a challenge! She is a keen dancer which includes acrobatics, disco, ballet and has done so for 10 years. She has won a number of medals for cheerleading in her last 6 major competitions. Apparently, in her spare time she likes to play badminton, swim, ice skate and walk the dog!. Her claim to fame is the time she met JLS.

Sharon lives in Irvine with her partner, John and has worked in various administration roles since leaving school, attaining SVQ level 2 in administration while at an insurance company. The next move was to a landscaping firm in the role of purchasing. She enjoys lunching with her friends and then working it all off again in the gym. Visiting different countries for holidays is her favourite pastime.
